First post: Some A Songs

A-Ok by Motion City Soundtrack
I was really into this band and this cd (I Am the Movie) in junior high. Every time I hear this band i picture this:
This song is good. Good instrumentals. Good Lyrics. Good hair. Check it out! I give it 4/5 stars.

A-Plus by Hieroglyphics
This is a song I never have listened to. It is 1:25 long. It has a sweet beat and it makes me wish it was much longer. I hate when they do that! Nice FLOW too MAYNE. 4/5 Cause it's short.

A-Punk by Vampire Weekend.
This song makes me want to buy a printer... http://youtu.be/dFmyUTCg8ak Nevertheless, it is a "fun" song. Something that is fun to dance to or drive recklessly with your friends around to. 3/5.

A.T.H.F. by Danger Doom
At first, I wasn't into this song. It had stupid dialogue going on and I am not interested in listening to people talk like tweety bird. Then the beat kicked in and my head started bobbing and bopping and booping. Near the end there is more dialogue over the beat, so I guess it's okay... 3/5.

A) The View From Here Is... B) A Brick Wall by Poison the Well.
This is another band I was really into in high school with my teen angst and girl pants wearing self. The intro is awesome. Then the HXCCCCCCCCC kicks in with the screaming/yelling. My taste has changed a lot, but I can still (kind of) appreciate this kind of music. This song makes me want to pull my double kick pedals out and bang on the drums!
3/5 now for the intro section mostly. 4/5 back in 2006...

Abbie Martin by Joshua James
Nice little diddy with piano, soft drums, accordion. A nice sounding song to chill out to. Not much else to say. 3/5

The ABC Cafe/Red and Black by Les Mis Cast
Yes. I like this musical. Yes. I know the words to the songs. It makes me wish I had a nice square jawline with a protruding chin, straight white teeth, and nice pecs so that I could be a broadway singer. At least that is what disney taught me about men who sing, and what they look like. 4/5

Aberdeen Mississippi Blues by Bukka White
Nothing like old blues. Low-fi recordings kind of suck, but you gotta love it baby. The way Bukka White sings and talks while playing makes you sit back picture an old black man beating the crap out of a guitar, slamming his foot to the beat on the ground. 4/5.

Aboretum by Vetiver
I like the instrumentals in this song. With the violins and guitar it is awesome. The lyrics are strange but the melody makes up for it. It is short, but in this case, that is good. 3/5.

Abortion by Lil Wayne
I feel like I should be playing a sports video game. This song would be on it. Feels like a pump up song. Some dumb lyrics and some UN DUMB TOO! 3/5.

Above & Beyond by Bassnectar
This track is freakin rad. If you are into "dubstep", or electronic with a gritty edge check it out. Or maybe you aren't into either, but you can be... It has a lot of layers and good flow. The bass effects are so sick. I listened to this song twice. Glad I found it! 5/5!!

Above the Clouds by Gang Starr
Pretty sweet song. Nice chill instrumental with lyrics by one of the best rappers. Check Gang Starr if you like you some hip hop. 3/5

Abraham Lincoln by Peter La Farge
wtf? What is this song? I am not sure where this came from, or why I have it. I have a feeling that I heard the name in an interview with Devendra Banhart, who I was obsessed with, and decided I HAD to like this guy too. I'm pretty sure that's it. I never liked him though.
1.5/5. I don't know why...

The Absence of God by Rilo Kiley
Some songs I don't have much to say about. This is one. It just doesn't do much for me. It has some cool guitar work, but I feel bored and want it to be over. Good thing Jenny Lewis is cute..2/5

Absentimental (Street Calm) by Norma Jean
Wow. What a big difference between this song and the last, in terms of sound. This one is just a little more angry... I feel weird sitting here just listening to this. I am not hitting people, breaking glass, protesting in front of KFC, or watching wrestling. But I should be. The outro breakdown is good. 2/5.

Absinthe Party At The Fly Honey Warehouse by Minus the Bear
Ahhh. Something that makes me feel happy inside. Seriously, one of the best cruising songs. Nice and chillaxed without being sleep music. The complexity of the instruments in this song is awesome. You can tell they work hard to make a good final product. 4/5

Absolute Future by Fear Before the March of Flames
I feel like this is a Bright Eyes song. It's a short filler song in the album. Nothing worth peeing my pants over. 2/5

Absolute Past by Fear Before the March of Flames
More like absolute blah. I remember being so excited to get this album. Fear Before was one of my favorite bands back in high school days. Then I got it and was so upset. It was nothing like their crazy noise music they made before. It was more organized and just bland. This song is included in that, besides the hard hitting drums. Which are always good. 2/5

Absolutely Curtains by Pink Floyd
Strange song, but not too strange for old Pink Floyd standards. There isn't really any singing by the band members, just a choir of random voices. I feel scared haha. Like I am about to be sacrificed and am in the middle of a circle of pierced Mayans. This is the closing track of the album. 2/5

Absolutely Fabulous and Me by Fear Before the March of Flames
This is more like the Fear Before I liked. This was never a song I would listen to a lot though. Once I got a ways into it though it is one that I really liked. I just had to get passed the intro area of it. This is a pretty heavy song with a lot of complex little beats and riffs. 3/5

Absolutely Sweet Marie by Bob Dylan
How many songs do I have with Absolute in the title?! Well, this is the last one. Can I mention that I hate when itunes puts the wrong album art on the album? Annoying. This song is a typical Bob Dylan song. It is a fun bouncy song. But meh. 2.5/5

Acadian Driftwood by The Band
Honestly I didn't pay much attention. I got bored. 2/5

Acapulco by Neil Diamond
YEAH Jazz Singer! I listened to this TAPE the whole time on the drive to Yellowstone with my mom when I was about ten. I wanted to be Neil Diamond so bad. This song is cheesy. And I am not sure why it's even on the soundtrack haha. 3/5

Accidental Babies by Damien Rice
Does that title refer to the act of creating poops when you mean to create a fart? I feel like this is what that song is. Bored. 2/5 because it is not that bad... but it is. I dunno!

Accidental Deth by Rilo Kiley
This one is much better than the other Rilo Kiley song. I actually find this one alright to listen to. I feel like she has a voice that would fit a disney character. Disney should get on that! 3.5/5

Achilles Last Stand by Led Zeppelin
This song is 10 minutes. Some songs should just be played live. This song felt like a long jam session. Which is fine. For a concert. Sorry fans. 2/5

My mission.

I am going to listen to every song in my itunes library. All the way through. And I am going to review them after.
Currently I have 28.4 days of music. 10,318 songs (with album art, voice notes, music videos, and duplicate songs. I will skip the duplicates.) I will listen to the songs from A-Z arranged by title.

Here we go...
